Rules and Guidelines
Important: Only WHOLE hot dogs count. Partial hot dogs do NOT count. If you start but don't finish a hot dog, it does not count. Hot dogs that are thrown up do not count. Round DOWN all conversions - no rounding up allowed.
What Counts as a Hot Dog?
- Standard hot dog: approximately 2 oz or approximately 56 g (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, veggie)
- Corn dogs (they have hot dogs inside)
- Bratwurst, sausages, and similar items
- Skyline Coneys (hot dog with chili equals still a hot dog)
- Costco hot dogs: 4 oz each, count as 2 hot dogs
- Sam's Club food court hot dogs: count as 2 hot dogs
- Footlong hot dogs: Count as 2 hot dogs
What Does NOT Count?
- Hamburgers, sandwiches, wraps
- Hot dog buns without the dog
- Breakfast sausage links (not in a bun)
- A sandwich is NOT a hot dog
- Partial hot dogs (not finished)
- Hot dogs that were thrown up
- 5:1 ratio - Mini corn dogs, cocktail wieners, pigs in a blanket
- 4:1 ratio - Vienna sausages
- 1 footlong equals 2 hot dogs
- 1 Costco or Sam's Club hot dog (4 oz) equals 2 hot dogs
- Chili, toppings, etc. do not affect the count
- Always round DOWN - no rounding up
